Privacy

This site works without cookies, without a consent banner and without external services. It stores no personal data.

1 · Controller

Prof. Dr. Ulf Pillkahn, Maxhofstr. 28, 81475 Munich, Germany. Email: info@operation-zukunft.de. Full details in the imprint.

2 · Visiting the site

The files of this site are served from web space provided by all-inkl.com Neue Medien Münnich, Hauptstraße 68, 02742 Friedersdorf, Germany. In doing so, technically necessary log data arises on the server (including IP address, time, file requested) which is required for operation and for defence against attacks. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. These logs are not accessed for analytics purposes; the provider deletes them after a short period.

No third-party content is loaded: no fonts from external servers, no maps, no video platforms, no analytics services, no social networks. All fonts, graphics and moving images reside on the same web space as the site.

3 · Visit counter

The site counts visits, not people. On the first request per browser session a counter is incremented by one. Only numbers are stored: one total and one value per calendar day. No IP address, no device characteristic and no identifier is stored; individual requests cannot be related to one another.

So that the same browser counts only once per session, an entry is set in the browser's sessionStorage. That entry never leaves your device and is deleted when the browser closes. It serves solely to avoid double counting. Known crawlers are not counted.

4 · Sign-up for the club launch

On the Club page you can sign up for a one-off notification at the launch of the club. Only your email address and the date of sign-up are stored — no IP address, no free text, no further details. The legal basis is your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR), which you give by submitting.

The address is used for exactly one message: the notification at launch with the founding-member offer. It is not shared and not used for other purposes. After that message is sent, the list is deleted; a transfer into the member list happens only if you yourself take out a membership. You can withdraw the sign-up at any time — a short reply to the confirmation email or an email to the address above suffices; the address is then deleted promptly.

The confirmation email is sent via the mail server of the hosting provider (all-inkl.com, see section 2).

5 · Buying individual roadmaps

When you buy a roadmap, payment is processed by Stripe (Stripe Payments Europe Ltd., 1 Grand Canal Street Lower, Dublin, Ireland) as an independent payment service provider. On Stripe’s checkout page you enter your e-mail address and payment details; payment data (card, account) does not reach us. Legal basis is performance of the contract (Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR). Stripe’s privacy notice: stripe.com/privacy.

We store in a database on our web space: your e-mail address, the purchased roadmap, language, date, amount and the Stripe transaction reference — for access management and statutory accounting retention (ten years, Section 147 German Fiscal Code). Access to the roadmap is via a sign-in link by e-mail (magic link, no password). A signed cookie tr_z is set (your e-mail address and an expiry date, valid one year, this website only, no tracking) as well as a technical cookie tr_hat that tells the page someone is signed in. Sign-in links are stored valid for 30 minutes (sign-in) or 7 days (purchase confirmation) and usable once. E-mails (purchase confirmation, sign-in link) are sent via our hosting provider’s mail server.

You can have your access deleted at any time (e-mail to the address above); the data required for accounting is then blocked and deleted after the retention period.

6 · Your rights

You generally have the right of access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and objection, as well as the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. Apart from a voluntary sign-up (section 4) and a purchase (section 5), no data about you is stored; access and erasure therefore relate to that sign-up and to the log data arising at the hosting provider. For this, please write to the email address given above.
